Call for Reviewers

CITE Research Symposium 2026 (CITERS 2026) will be held on May 15 and 16, 2026 at The University of Hong Kong. CITERS 2026 is organized by the Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) of the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong. The theme for CITERS 2026 is Co-evolving Futures: Agency in Learning and Collaboration.

The symposium will bring together researchers and practitioners interested in educational uses of information technology to:

  • share and learn about recent research results and evidence-based practices,
  • improve the use of design and technology in teaching and learning, and
  • support participants’ professional learning and networking with colleagues.

As researchers and practitioners focus on creating meaningful changes in education, we seek to empower individuals and communities to create positive outcomes in their respective fields, including but not limited to the following sub-themes:

  1. Human-AI Collaboration in Teaching and Learning
  2. Intelligent Learning Design and Learning Analytics
  3. Agency in Learning and Teaching with Emerging Technologies
  4. Education Equity and Digital Wellbeing
  5. Emerging Literacies for Future Readiness
  6. Theories and Practices of AI Literacy

We are inviting you to sign up as a reviewer for CITERS 2026. The primary responsibilities of a reviewer include the following:

  • Promote the Call for Submission to your colleagues, networks, and mailing lists between now and March 2026.
  • Review the submitted proposals and provide feedback to the authors. Please complete and submit your reviews promptly through the submission system. 
  • Promote the Conference Program to colleagues and networks before CITERS 2026.

Please consider signing up as a reviewer by filling in the registration form (click the following button). Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

  • Deadline for Proposal Submission: March 9, 2026 (Mon)
  • Deadline for Review Completion: April 13, 2026 (Mon)

Each reviewer is expected to review 4 to 6 submissions.

First-Time Reviewers?

Do not worry if you are a first-time reviewer. Researchers, students, and practitioners of all levels are warmly welcomed, and your expertise and contributions are highly appreciated. We will provide support and guidelines for those who are new to the peer review process.
